Whiskers-a-droop!

Posted by asiadmin - June 7th, 2013

I simply could not bring myself to blog yesterday. My whiskers were drooping all day long. It is a condition only known to pussycats. Basically, I was not feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed…which I most certainly do on a daily basis. I have every intention of discussing this Battle of Waterloo matter further, yet presently I am not in the mood. However, I can tell you one thing…It was BAD!…Not a good thing!…Ta-ta!

Ko-Ko’s History Lesson 101

Posted by asiadmin - June 5th, 2013

This is what happened…meow by meow…as witnessed by the pussycat…moi! It all began when Mumzy and Popzy decided to travel to Belgium. They enjoy travelling to historical places, therefore they dragged the resident cat…again namely moi…along. Do not ask me as to why, for I do not know other than the fact that they believe that it is imperative to teach the pussycat…namely moi, once again…history! Thus, I am going to pass on my vast knowledge unto you…whomever you may be…whether you like it or not…So there!…Besides, knowledge must be passed on. Back to the story. Alas, we arrived in Belgium. If you wish to know more about the plane ride…read my book, Cat Paws Through History, Ko-Ko the Cat Meets Napoleon Bonaparte. Having arrived in Belgium, we then rented a vehicle and drove to Waterloo. The battlefield, where the Battle of Waterloo was fought, is in the vicinity of the town of Waterloo. It was in this horrendous battle, that the great Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated. It took place in the year 1815. AKH! This is already much too much information for one day. I can feel my fur rising. I need a rest. A cat nap to be exact. Therefore, bits and pieces will be shared on a daily basis. Poor fellow…Napoleon, that is…I rather liked him when I met him. If you wish to know more…read the book! Until tomorrow…Ta-ta!

Dr. Ko-Ko,…I presume?

Posted by asiadmin - May 23rd, 2013

Actually, I have a C.H.D. which stands for a Doctorate in Cat-ilosophy. However, if you wish to refer to me as Dr. Ko-Ko, that would be quite appropriate as well. Thus, let us begin our second day in the adventures of Ko-Ko the Cat and his unique blog. Overnight, as I spent many an hour purring, I had much to ponder upon. I decided that in my blog, I would share with the masses, my passions for the various matters of importance in the daily existence of my life as an extraordinary pussycat. For example, my adventures and travels, my love of history, classical music and film. The importance of etiquette in the day to day survival of man and beast, etc.

Alas, it shall be an interesting journey. Well,… let us state that it shall be quite enlightening. I shall ponder some more this evening, and perhaps tomorrow,…we shall begin…that is,…if I feel like it. After all, first and foremost, I am a pussycat. Pussycats do what they want…when they want.

Get use to it! It is…what it is.  Ta-Ta!

Cat Paws Through History: Ko-Ko the Cat Meets Napoleon Bonaparte by Isabel H. Stepanian

Posted by asiadmin - March 27th, 2012

“Then suddenly, in the distance, he spotted the grass covered hill with a monument placed on the very top. There stood a grand statue. What was that?—He peered intensely, as his golden eyes became more owl-like and focused. My goodness! My goodness gracious! It—was a lion! Now, this was rather ridiculous, he mused, with a squint of his eyes. To think that Mumzy and Popzy had brought him all this way in order to see a statue of a lion was somewhat of a curious idea: However, they had been known to do stranger things than that. Living with them was one adventure after another: Woop-de-doo! Ko-Ko continued staring out of the window in a mesmerized manner. That lion looked quite majestic: For a lion that is, he pondered pensively. Personally, if one were to ask him, he felt that cats were more majestic, but then again, it was perhaps a matter of opinion: His own catty one.”
